Things that would be nice, but I have no idea when I’ll get to. There is also a PublicWishList that you can add to.
- Automatic Permaview – Remembers what you had open on return visits (for logged in users)
- Mobile ServerSideWiki – Want to access your ServerSideWiki from your Internet equipped cellphone or PDA? So do we…
- Spellcheck – Because sometimes I just can’t spell.
- Data Import – some way to import data from other Tiddly implimentations (file upload and parse?)
- Revision Diffing – Ability to view differences between older and newer revisions of an item.
- E-mail notification of tiddler changes when more than one person can edit
- Encrypt/decrypt – like at http://server.boardgamestuff.com:8000/gray-tiddlywiki.html
- Add comments – add real-time comments to a page without having full ability to edit
- Multiple accounts for a single subdomain – multiple account per actual site with automatic changing of the username used to sign changes (ie, this would no longer be a client thing, but a server/account thing at this point)… maybe would lead to an “Authors” tab with pages sorted by author…
Complete
- While editing the standard parts like MainMenu or SiteTitle, you should perhaps not allow edits of the title… less confusing for new users…
- Autocomplete tags – to ensure fewer typing errors
- Revisions – Ability to view previous revisions and revert the text to an older revision.
- Textile – Textile as an alternative to TiddlyWiki markup….
- Private ServerSideWikis – Building on the above the ability for only a select group to access a ServerSideWiki site.
- Public ServerSideWikis – Can be edited by anyone. Would need the above mentioned revision control to be really useful.
- RSS Feed – self explanatory?
- Private tiddlers – Tiddlers that only show when you are logged in and have a private checkbox or simliar… when the site is viewed publicly they are not sent to the client and hence would be invisible
- Linkability – allow links and sort it out between RubyonRails and ServerSideWiki to show that page alone (to encourage outside linking)
- Multiple Tiddly Variations – the ability to select a variation of TiddlyWiki (Taggly, Tiddly latest version, GTD, etc) from the accounts section. This is now handled through styles… though it won’t be exact, it can look close.

PublicWishList
This list is publically accessible. Please edit it, but do not delete other people’s stuff. Thanks. If you see someone has messed up the page, please help correct it.
Please visit the forum and add items to the Feature Request forum. Yes, you must register. No, you can’t use your existing ServerSideWiki account (if only there were more hours in the day).
The forum is now the correct place to discuss enhancements and this page is no longer marked public.
WishList
- Ability to tie tiddlers together. For instance, one tiddler is like a contact (a person or company), other tiddlers are notes tied to the contact. Tags are awesome, but would be cool if you when you open one tiddler that another one can open with it.
- Scroll back up when a tiddler is closed so that you aren’t looking at a blank page
- Archive capability to push tiddlers off to another serversidewiki when no longer required anymore to reduce the size of the page and increase performance.
- Ability to configure default “on top” position for newly opened tiddlers.
- Ability to download an copy of your Wiki for backup-purposes, gives a secure feeling that your data is safe. HTML-formatted if nothing else.
- Ability to post the most recently edited tiddlers when the TiddlyWiki is opened, similar to a blog, as implemented here
